LEARN TO KNIT
Depending on your yarn, you'll need to cast on 30-40 stitches for a kitten blanket and 40-50 stitches for a cat blanket. We recommend bulkier yarn if you're a beginner, as you won't need to knit as many rows and it hides mistakes.
Feel free to experiment with different stitches for a creative and unique blanket. Stockinette stitch and ribbing are great beginner options. You are welcome to crochet as well.
